Good to know
Gift Cards
Delivered instantly by email. No expiry date. Redeemable against luggage storage, the Toolshed, parcel collection, or any other paid TBH service. Partial redemption is supported — remaining credit stays on the account.
Veranda Invitations
Available for The Veranda and Veranda Plus tiers. The recipient activates at their own pace — the 12-month membership begins from activation, not from purchase. One invitation per recipient.
Delivery
All gifts are delivered digitally by email. No physical item is shipped. If your recipient doesn't receive theirs within a few minutes, ask them to check spam — or get in touch and we'll resend.

Common questions
Can I schedule a gift card to arrive on a specific date?
Not yet — gift cards are sent immediately on purchase. If you'd like to time it, buy on the day you want it to arrive and have it ready to forward.
Do gift cards expire?
No. TBH Gift Cards have no expiry date. The credit stays on the recipient's account until they use it.
What if the recipient already has a Veranda membership?
A Veranda Invitation can be gifted regardless. The recipient can hold it and activate it when their current membership expires, or get in touch with us to discuss their options.
Can I buy a gift card for someone outside the UK or US?
Yes. Gift cards are redeemable at any Guardian location in the TBH network worldwide. Delivery is by email so there's no shipping concern.
What's the difference between The Veranda and Veranda Plus?
The Veranda gives members priority Guardian access and a 10% booking discount. Veranda Plus adds a 20% discount and additional perks. Both are available as Veranda Invitations.
Can I get a refund on a gift card?
Gift card purchases are non-refundable once the code has been delivered. If your gift card was purchased in error and hasn't been used or shared, get in touch promptly and we'll see what we can do.
