When does the membership pay for itself?
A Veranda membership ($49/year) pays for itself once your booking discounts exceed the membership fee. At 10% off per booking, most members break even within their first few visits. Veranda Plus ($149/year) breaks even faster thanks to the 20% discount, no overnight surcharge, and free Check-In at participating Guardians.
Can I upgrade from Veranda to Veranda Plus?
Yes. You can upgrade from Veranda to Veranda Plus at any time. Get in touch with TBH support and we'll apply a prorated credit for the remaining time on your current membership toward the cost of Veranda Plus.
What does "guaranteed Guardian access" mean?
Veranda Plus members have guaranteed access at participating Guardian locations — even during busy periods when standard capacity is reached. If a Guardian location is at capacity, Veranda Plus members are prioritised for the next available slot. Standard Veranda members get best-available access, which is priority over non-members but not a guarantee.
What is the founding member price?
Veranda Plus is available at $129 per year for the first 500 members in each country where TBH launches. This is $20 off the standard $149 rate and is locked in for as long as you stay a member — your price never increases while you remain active. Once the 500-member founding cohort closes in your country, the price moves to $149 for new members.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. You can cancel your Veranda or Veranda Plus membership at any time. Your membership remains active until the end of your current annual period — there are no partial refunds for unused months. You'll receive 60 days notice before any price change takes effect.
Can I give a Veranda membership as a gift?
Yes. Veranda Invitations are available on the Give page — you choose the tier (Veranda or Veranda Plus) and your recipient activates at their convenience. The 12-month membership year starts from the date they activate, not the date you purchase.
