What you can accept
Travel gear
Luggage, backpacks, carry-ons, and personal items. Ideal for travelers between hotels or waiting for an early flight.
Outerwear and daily items
Coats, jackets, umbrellas, helmets, and sports gear. Anything a customer needs to leave overnight and collect in the morning.
Work and trade items
Laptop bags, instruments, and trader stock. Perfect for commuters, market traders, and small business owners.
What you cannot accept
For the safety of your business and your customers, the following items must never be accepted:
Weapons of any kind — firearms, ammunition, knives, or tasers. Hazardous materials — flammables, explosives, corrosives, or compressed gases. Illegal substances of any kind. Perishable food items. Live animals. Items with visible damage or leaking contents. Any unidentified or suspicious package.
You have the right to decline any item at your discretion. If something doesn't feel right, don't accept it. Your safety comes first.
How to process a Night Safe drop-off
Select a package
Open the Guardian app and tap Night Safe. Choose the customer's package — single night, 2-night, 3-night, or monthly.
Select the item
Choose the item type from the grid — luggage, bag, instrument, and more. Add quantity using the stepper if needed.
Seal and confirm
Attach a tamper-evident seal, scan or enter the seal number, take a photo, enter the customer's phone number and confirm.
Issue the PIN
The customer receives a PIN by WhatsApp or SMS. They present it when they collect. You verify and release the item.
Packages and pricing
Single night
One overnight stay. Customer drops off in the evening and collects the next day.
2-night package
Two consecutive nights. Ideal for short stays or weekend travelers.
3-night package
Three consecutive nights. Perfect for longer city visits or extended trips.
Monthly subscription
A recurring monthly arrangement for regular customers — commuters, traders, and frequent visitors.
Common questions
What if a customer wants to extend their stay?
Open the Guardian app and locate the item in the In Storage screen. The customer can upgrade to a longer package — the app calculates the difference. Collect the additional payment and update the record.
What if a customer doesn't collect on time?
The app will flag the item as expiring soon or in overstay. Send the customer a reminder directly from the app. If they still don't collect, hold the item securely and contact TBH support via WhatsApp.
Can I refuse a Night Safe drop-off?
Yes. You have full discretion to decline any item. If an item appears damaged, suspicious, or falls under the prohibited list, decline it politely and explain that it doesn't meet the storage criteria.
What if an item is damaged or goes missing overnight?
Every transaction includes Bag Protection coverage. Report any damage or loss immediately via WhatsApp to support@thebaghotel.com before the customer collects. Do not release the item until you have spoken to TBH support.
