The rate is the difference
Most referral programs pay you once, for one moment. The Concierge Program pays you for a full year of a Guardian's revenue — every transaction they process, for 12 months from their very first one. Keep referring active Guardians, and it keeps renewing.
What concierges ask first
Do I need a minimum number of followers to apply?
No — there's no follower minimum. We care about whether you know good local businesses, not how big your following is. Someone with strong relationships in their neighborhood can be a better fit than a generic account with a huge audience.
How does my commission actually work?
When a business you refer is approved as a Guardian and processes its first transaction, your 12-month commission period begins. You earn 10% of TBH's own share of that Guardian's revenue for the year. It doesn't come out of the Guardian's earnings at all — they keep their full agreed rate either way.
What happens after the first 12 months?
Your commission on that Guardian renews automatically for another year, as long as you've referred at least one more Guardian who's completed a transaction in that time. If not, it ends at the 12-month mark — but we'll always let you know in advance, so there's no surprise.
When and how do I get paid?
Commissions are calculated monthly and paid out on a regular schedule. Full details are in your Concierge Program Partner Terms.
Is there an exclusivity requirement?
No — you can work with other programs at the same time. We'd rather earn your recommendation through a better rate than lock you in.
