Guardian Business Partner

Guardian Partner  ·  The Bag Hotel

visits per booking, guaranteed

Part of a network. Not just a storage point.

Every TBH booking brings a customer through your door twice. Every new location in the network makes every existing location more valuable. The network compounds.

Everything you need to know about your Guardian partnership — how it works, what TBH provides, and how the network grows around you.

Your location is their first contact with a global network.

A customer who discovers TBH at your location becomes a TBH user everywhere they travel. They return to your location whenever they are back in the area. They use TBH at every other Guardian location in the network on every journey in between. Your location is the starting point of that relationship — and you earn the majority share of every transaction they process at your counter for the life of the partnership.

The TBH Guardian network is built on independently owned local businesses — cafés, shops, pharmacies, newsstands, convenience stores, and any business with a staffed counter and consistent opening hours. Every Guardian location that joins makes the network more useful for every customer, which makes every Guardian location more valuable. That compounding is the network benefit — and it belongs to every Guardian partner from their first booking.

TBH is built on a simple belief: the best person to look after a traveller's belongings is a trusted local business owner. Not a locker, not an algorithm, not a multinational. Every Guardian in the TBH World is an independent local business. That's not a coincidence. It's a founding principle.

Two visits.
Every booking.

The two-visit structure is not a marketing goal. It is built into how TBH works. Every booking brings a customer to your counter twice — drop-off when they set out, collection when they return. That second visit is guaranteed before the first one happens.

For any retail or service business, that second visit is a purchase opportunity. A coffee on the way back. A snack. A top-up. The kind of impulse moment that drives a significant portion of retail revenue — arriving without a marketing budget, built into every TBH transaction at your location.

And unlike foot traffic driven by promotions, TBH footfall costs Guardian partners nothing extra to generate. It arrives with every booking.

Locker systems TBH Guardian
Customer interaction Customer uses a machine Customer interacts with staff, twice
Return footfall Zero guaranteed return visits Guaranteed pick-up visit every booking
Purchase opportunity None. Transaction ends at the machine Two natural impulse moments per customer
Network benefit No network. Standalone unit Every new Guardian location strengthens yours
Customer relationship No association with the store Customer connects the experience to your business
Equipment required Hardware installation needed No hardware. Any device, any counter

The network compounds with every new location.

Your location earns more as the network grows.

When a new Guardian location opens in your city, your location benefits. A customer who discovers TBH at the new location is now in the network — and if they are ever near your counter, they will use it. Every new Guardian location in a market adds potential customers to every existing Guardian location in that market.

TBH is expanding through four models simultaneously — TBH-owned hubs at major transport hubs, concession agreements with venue operators, civic partnerships with cities and transit authorities, and the Guardian network. Every location added under any model brings more TBH customers into the network that visits your counter.

That is the compounding the Guardian network is built on. It is not a future promise. It starts with the first booking at your location and grows from there.

What Guardian partners have access to

Majority share of every transaction

Guardian partners earn the majority share of every storage transaction fee processed at their counter. Settled monthly by TBH with a full transaction report. No minimum volume. No fees deducted beyond the agreed split.

Guardian dashboard and inventory view

Your Guardian dashboard shows every item currently in storage at your location — seal number, intake photo, time stored, and collection status. You always know exactly what is in your storage area and for how long. No manual log. No searching through receipts.

Live capacity management

Set your maximum capacity in the TBH Partner app. The system tracks your live occupancy automatically with every check-in and collection. Use the daily override when you can take fewer items than usual — it resets automatically at midnight. Customers see your live availability before they travel to you.

Counter identification card and window sticker

TBH provides a counter card and window sticker for every Guardian location — so customers know they are in the right place before they walk in and the moment they arrive at the counter. Physical identifiers that build trust before the first word is spoken.

Full insurance and dispute resolution

Every item stored under TBH protocols is covered by TBH's comprehensive bailee's liability insurance. Guardian partners are not personally liable. All customer disputes go to TBH — not to the Guardian. You deal with TBH. Customers deal with TBH.

The global network discount

TBH customers get discounted access at every Guardian location in the network. A customer who stores with you in London gets a discount when they store at a Guardian in Nairobi, New York, or Sydney — and vice versa. The network benefit follows the customer. Your location earns from their first visit and every return.

Beyond storage: the TBH Insider model

Guardian partners that want to go further can also become TBH Insiders. By nominating other local businesses to join the Guardian network, they earn on every transaction those businesses process, for 12 months per nomination.

It's a way to strengthen the local business network and generate passive income at the same time.

What TBH asks of Guardian partners

Keep your hours live

Customers book storage based on your confirmed hours. Update your status in the TBH Partner app before any change — early closing, holidays, and unexpected events included. A Guardian who marks unavailable before closing protects their customers and their rating. A Guardian who closes without notice risks suspension from the network.

Train all your staff

Every staff member who may be at the counter — full-time, part-time, and cover — must know the TBH process. TBH provides a Staff Quick Reference Card to post at the counter. A customer arriving with a valid booking must never be turned away by an untrained staff member.

Follow TBH protocols every time

Photo, seal, weigh, scan — the same process for every item, every transaction. The protocols protect the Guardian, the customer, and TBH's ability to resolve any dispute quickly and fairly. The process is what makes the insurance meaningful and the chain of custody complete.

The Guardian network is one of four models TBH is building simultaneously.

Every model adds to the same network. Every TBH customer — whether they stored at a Guardian location, a TBH Hub at an airport, a hotel concession desk, or a civic partnership location at a train station — is in the same network that visits your counter.

TBH Hubs

At the highest-footfall locations — major airports, flagship railway stations, cruise terminal arrival halls — TBH operates its own staffed, TBH-branded hubs. Every customer who uses a TBH Hub is in the network. Guardian locations are where those customers store when they are not at a hub — in the neighbourhood, near the hotel, around the corner from the event.

Concession agreements

TBH operates storage concessions at hotels, hospitals, convention centres, and campus facilities under concession agreements. Every delegate, patient, student, or guest who uses a TBH concession becomes a TBH network member — with access to every Guardian location near wherever they travel next.

Civic and transit partnerships

TBH partners with cities, municipalities, and transit authorities to bring storage to public spaces — parks, beaches, transit stations, and tourist districts. Every civic partnership location adds a new category of customer to the network: the city visitor who wants to walk the city unburdened and returns to Guardian locations in every city they visit.

The Guardian network — your location

The Guardian network is the most distributed of the four models — the one that reaches every neighbourhood, every street, every local business district. TBH Hubs operate at the biggest locations. Guardian partners operate everywhere else. The network is not complete without both.

One system. Every transaction.

Every customer who uses TBH — regardless of which model they used — is in the same system. The discount they earn at a TBH Hub is redeemable at your counter. The loyalty they build at your counter follows them to a TBH Hub. The network benefit is not model-specific. It is universal — and your location earns from it from the first booking.

What Guardian partners ask

How do I update my opening hours or mark myself unavailable?
Open the TBH Partner app and update your hours or toggle your availability status. Changes take effect immediately — customers see your updated availability before they travel to your location. If you need to close unexpectedly, mark yourself unavailable before closing. TBH will notify any customers with active bookings at your location. Partners who close without notice risk their Guardian rating and, if repeated, suspension from the network.
What is the daily capacity override and how does it work?
Your maximum capacity is set in the TBH Partner app — the total number of items you can hold simultaneously. On days when you can take fewer items than usual — short-staffed, busy trading day, or unexpected events — you can set a lower limit using the daily override. It resets automatically at midnight. The system tracks your live occupancy automatically with every check-in and collection. When you reach capacity, the system stops showing you as available to new customers and redirects them to the next nearest Guardian.
Can I see what is currently stored at my location?
Yes. Your Guardian dashboard shows every item currently in storage at your location — seal number, intake photo, time stored, and whether it has been collected. You always know what is in your storage area and for how long. There is no manual log to maintain. The system updates automatically with every check-in and collection.
What if a customer arrives and I am full or unexpectedly closed?
TBH shows your live availability to customers before they travel. If you are full, customers are shown the next available Guardian. If you need to close unexpectedly, mark yourself unavailable in the Partner app immediately — TBH will notify any customers with active bookings at your location. Partners who close without notice risk their Guardian rating. If a customer arrives to find you closed and you have not marked unavailable, contact TBH immediately at partners@thebaghotel.com.
What if a customer's items are damaged while in our care?
All items stored through TBH are covered by TBH's comprehensive bailee's liability insurance. Guardian partners are not personally liable for items stored in good faith following TBH protocols. If a claim arises, TBH handles it directly with the customer — the Guardian partner is not involved in the resolution. Full details at thebaghotel.com/pages/guardian-protection.
Do I need to train cover staff separately?
Yes — every staff member who may be at the counter must know the TBH process, including part-time and cover staff. TBH provides a Staff Quick Reference Card to post at the counter. It covers the full check-in and collection process in plain language. A customer arriving with a valid booking must never be turned away because the staff member on duty does not know the process. Print the card, post it at the counter, and update cover staff before their first shift.
How and when do I get paid?
Guardian partner revenue is settled monthly by TBH with a full transaction report. You receive the majority share of every transaction processed at your location. No minimum volume. No fees deducted beyond the agreed split. Payment is made by bank transfer to the account registered at onboarding.
Does TBH bring in customers I wouldn't otherwise see?
Yes, and they come back. Customers book storage before they arrive, meaning they have already chosen your location as their base for the day. They drop off, explore, and return. Two visits per customer, every time. For businesses near transport hubs, tourist areas, or event venues, that is a consistent and meaningful source of new foot traffic that costs nothing to generate beyond following the TBH process.
