TBH at Sacred Ceremonies — Beatification, Canonization & Ordination Events

Event Check / Sacred Ceremonies

Beatification · Canonization · Ordination · Consecration

Present for the moment — not for their belongings.

When the faithful gather from across the world for a beatification, a canonization, or a priestly ordination, they deserve to be fully present. TBH provides discreet, secure bag and item storage at sacred ceremonies — so nothing stands between a family and the moment they have travelled so far to witness.

Our approach

"A service like this should be invisible. Families should hand over their bags, enter the ceremony, and find everything exactly as they left it — without the service ever having been a distraction from what matters."

TBH staff are briefed on the particular reverence of every sacred ceremony they attend. We dress appropriately, operate quietly, and position ourselves to serve without intruding. The ceremony is not a backdrop for our service — our service is in the background of the ceremony.

Ceremonies we serve

Three sacred occasions. One discreet service.

TBH works at sacred ceremonies in our active markets worldwide. Tell us about your event and we will confirm how we can help.

Beatification & Canonization

When the faithful gather in their thousands

Beatification and canonization ceremonies draw the faithful from every corner of the world to venues — arenas, convention centres, cathedral squares — that may hold tens of thousands. Many families travel internationally, arriving with luggage and personal belongings they cannot carry into the ceremony. TBH provides staffed storage adjacent to the venue, so every family can enter unencumbered and be fully present for the Mass.

TBH operates outside the ceremony perimeter where security protocols require it. No conflict with venue access arrangements.

Priestly Ordination & Consecration

Families who have waited years for this day

Large outdoor ordination and episcopal consecration ceremonies bring together not only the families of those being ordained but the wider faithful — often in temporary structures, seminary grounds, or open-air settings. Families who have travelled long distances arrive with flowers, gifts, and personal belongings they wish to set aside during the ceremony itself. TBH holds these items securely and returns them with the same care they were given.

Suitable for outdoor or large-venue ordinations and consecrations with 500 or more attendees. Contact us for smaller ceremonies.

Episcopal Consecration & Installation

A diocese gathered as one

The installation of a new bishop or the consecration of a bishop draws the priests, religious, and faithful of an entire diocese together. These ceremonies, often held in cathedrals or large civic venues, bring with them families who have travelled from across the diocese and beyond. TBH provides a respectful, efficient storage service so the gathering can focus entirely on the occasion.

How we work

Quiet, careful, and entirely managed by us.

TBH coordinates with the diocese or event organiser before the ceremony, arrives early, operates discreetly, and clears without disturbance. Nothing is left to the pastoral team on the day.

01

Enquire about your ceremony

Share the ceremony type, venue, date, and expected attendance. We respond within one business day to confirm availability and discuss how TBH can serve your particular event.

02

We coordinate with the diocese or organiser

TBH liaises directly with the diocese events team, seminary staff, or venue coordinator on placement, setup, and how we integrate with the day's arrangements. Nothing is left to the pastoral team to manage.

03

Families check in their belongings

Each item receives a tamper-evident seal and a unique PIN. The process takes under 30 seconds. Families enter the ceremony with nothing on their hands and their minds at rest.

04

Collection and closedown

Families collect by PIN after the ceremony. TBH packs down quietly and provides a full reconciliation report within 48 hours. Any uncollected items are logged, photographed, and held pending collection arrangements.

What we hold

Everything a travelling family carries.

Many families who attend these ceremonies have travelled a great distance. TBH holds what they cannot carry into the ceremony and what they do not wish to leave unattended.

Bags & luggage

Suitcases, travel bags, and large personal items brought by families who have travelled from overseas or interstate. Held securely and collected after the ceremony.

Flowers & gifts

Bouquets, wrapped gifts, and celebratory items brought for the newly ordained or for the occasion itself. Held carefully and returned at collection.

Coats & wraps

Outer garments that families wish to remove before entering a warm venue or a formal ceremony. Each item individually sealed and PIN-secured.

Valuables & electronics

Cameras, laptops, jewellery, and high-value personal items. Enhanced seal protocols and covered by TBH's bailee's liability insurance. Available at Bespoke tier.

What dioceses and organisers need to know

The assurances that matter.

Insurance

TBH carries comprehensive bailee's liability insurance covering all items in our custody. A certificate of insurance is available on request. We can name the diocese, seminary, or venue as additionally insured where required.

Discretion

TBH staff are briefed on the particular nature of every sacred ceremony they attend. We dress appropriately, operate quietly, and position ourselves to serve without intruding on the ceremony or its surroundings.

Technology

Each item receives a tamper-evident seal and a unique PIN. Collection by PIN only — no paper tickets, no name lookups. All transactions logged in real time via the TBH system. A full reconciliation report follows within 48 hours.

Setup requirements

TBH brings all equipment. We require a designated area of approximately 6ft x 4ft per desk, access to power, and a 60-minute setup window before the ceremony begins. We leave no trace.

No burden on your team

TBH is self-contained. The pastoral team, diocese staff, and seminary team are not involved in operating the service on the day. We coordinate directly with the venue and arrive fully briefed.

Uncollected items

Any items not collected after the ceremony are photographed, logged, and held. We notify the organising team with full item details and arrange a follow-up collection. Nothing is left unaccounted for.

Common questions

What dioceses and event teams ask us.

Does TBH have experience working at religious or sacred events?

TBH's Event Check service operates at a wide range of formal and solemn occasions — black-tie award galas, university commencement ceremonies, and formal evening events where discretion and care are the standard expected. We apply the same approach to sacred ceremonies, with particular attention to the reverence of the occasion and the needs of the families and faithful attending.

How does TBH position itself relative to the ceremony's security arrangements?

For ceremonies with a security perimeter — as is common at large beatification and canonization events — TBH operates outside the perimeter, in the approach or adjacent area before families pass through security. We have no conflict with venue access arrangements and do not require any coordination with security personnel beyond placement.

Can TBH accommodate ceremonies at outdoor or non-standard venues?

Yes. TBH operates from freestanding desks and brings all equipment. We require a designated area of approximately 6ft x 4ft per desk near the ceremony entrance. For outdoor ceremonies, we bring weather-appropriate covering for stored items on request. Seminary grounds, cathedral squares, open-air sites, and civic venues are all suitable.

What is the minimum attendance for TBH to attend?

TBH is best suited to ceremonies with 500 or more attendees, where a meaningful number of families are likely to have travelled a significant distance and wish to store belongings. For smaller ceremonies, the economics of a dedicated staffed service may not apply — contact us and we will advise honestly on whether TBH is the right solution for your particular event.

Can families pre-register for the storage service ahead of the ceremony?

Yes. For ceremonies where attendance is ticketed or registered in advance, TBH can be offered as a pre-bookable service during the registration process. Pre-registered families move through check-in faster and you have confirmed numbers in advance. We can discuss integration with your existing registration arrangements.

Does TBH carry insurance?

Yes. TBH carries comprehensive bailee's liability insurance covering all items in our custody. A certificate of insurance is available on request. We can name your diocese, seminary, or venue as additionally insured where required by your organising body.
